Children from KS1 have completed two colourful farmyard banners in their art club. They used paint, fabric, paper and recycled materials to create their artwork with the Caunton countryside giving them a great source of inspiration.

The banners provided a backdrop for their end of year production which involved the whole school's exceptionally talented cast.

Paintings by members of my Family Art Club were displayed in the 'Stanhope Gallery'. Children, parents, grandparents and uncles attended a series of workshops which helped them develop their inspiration and ideas to paint some amazing pictures.

These were admired by many and the exhibition proved to be a sell out as part of the school's Enterprise Fair. Money raised contributes towards supporting a child in India through the charity Action Aid.
